This last weekend saw the BRCA Junior 1/10th finals at Bury, and our Jnr’s were representing, Felix De Hamel n U16 running his Schumacher cars and Tommy Hall and Jamie Hall in U13 representing Team XRAY. In 2wd on Saturday Felix qualified 3rd, Jamie qualified 5th and Tommy qualified 6th. Amazing qualifying for the boys – despite a tricky and wet track! Finals were even better Felix finished 4th, Jamie finished 6th, Tommy finished 5th. This weekend was the last round of the Ebuggy/Truggy nationals at Slough. We had Chris Ely, Chris Lovell, George Miller and Ashley Evans. The track was in fantastic condition, freshly prepared and rolled and the line up although not full was very competitive. The guys all had some solid qualifying results, and all started at the top end of the C final. Last week was the 1/10th Off Road Euros in Spain and RCPB driver Felix De Hamel and his Schumacher cars were lucky enough to be one of the BRCA entries for Team GB - Pictured above. He would compete in both 2wd and 4wd at the championships, held at Valladolid on the 1/8th Dirt track. The track looked amazing and all the cars coped well on the fantastic features. Some of the RCPB 1/10th team were representing at the 1/10th Nationals this weekend at Telford Model Car Club. We had Schumacher drivers, Mark Fletcher and Felix De Hamel and Xray drivers Dom Nunn, Jamie Hall and Tommy Hall doing the team proud. Felix was the top of the pile after 2wd qualifying on Saturday, he stood 32nd, Dom 45th and Mark  47th, Jamie 54th and Tommy 58th with some very impressive driving by all in a field of over 110 drivers. Lots of racing for Team RCPB this weekend – we just can’t get enough RC action!!!! At Kidderminster for the Mid West 1/10th regional! Felix De Hamel and Mark Fletcher and their Schumacher cars were representing. Both drivers in great form recently so it was going to be a very competitive RCPB team at Marks home track. Both had great qualifying, Felix managed some fantastic qualifying runs and got straight in the B, he qualified and finished 13th, a great day for this young driver.
