RCPB @ Silverstone!

This weekend saw some 1/10th racing for RCPB, five of the Team including our Newest Team Members Tommy and Jamie Hall headed off to the Very good Silverstone track and series. Both Tommy and Jamie are up and coming Jnr racers which we are pleased to be supporting – Big welcome to the Team guys. Also in attendance were Felix de Hamel, Chris Ely and James Barker amongst the 100plus field of drivers. All pictured below except James Barker.
It was a great day for all the guys, Felix De Hamel taking top honours in the 2wd class qualifying in the C final in this very good field of drivers, Felix just pipping the other guys in the qualifying. Felix was running his Schumacher 2wd and was running in 2nd spot for a proportion of the race and ended up a very good 5th.
Next was James 3rd in the D with Chris Ely 6th also in the D – Chris was running his Xray XB2 for the first time. James pictured in action below.
There were also some great runs from young Tommy and Jamie Hall which saw them finish 3rd and 4th in the E final with Tommy just edging out Jamie in a close race. Both boys were racing the Xray Xb2 for the very first time. Great race guys, i’m sure both will be ones to watch in the future!
In 4wd Chris was flying with his new Xray XB4/Tekin Electrics/MKS Servo and took up a very good 4th on the grid in the A final, After a superb race and some class overtaking Chris went on to take 2nd overall and another Podium for Mr Ely. Great drive!
Meanwhile at Maritime Raceway George Miller was back racing his Sworks 4wd and once again managed a great result, taking the C Final win by over a lap - his car pictured below.
